The Mission

Mother Therasa Trust, where the people togethered with the commitment to serve the society in all ways as possible. We started in 2003 as registered organization. Now the trust is doing well with spreading the root in Dindigul and Theni Districts, Tamil Nadu, India.

The Ultimate motto of us is to serve to the needy in time at their place. When they face natural calamities, requires help at difficulties we be there. We also the serving bridge between helping hands and beneficiaries.

Our services

Mother Therasa Trust, serving honestly to honour of the Person who posses on its name. It shows a caring warm palm to the needy in all the ways. There are so many progrmmes conducted by Mother therasa trust to the people to make them awareness related to health, education and environments, Get relief, and live safely and hygienically in a protected healthy natural circumstances. Mainly we can divide in to three major service titles. Health Oriented service and Awareness programmes, Educational Programmes, Programmes to Preserve Environment.

Health Oriented Services

AIDS/ HIV Awareness & Care Prgrammes

AIDS, the Global Killer diseases in increased in number which threatens the global in recent period. Every day, an estimated 6,800 people are infected with HIV (nearly 50 every minute!) and more than 1 million contract a sexually transmitted diseases (STD). Currently, an estimated 33 million people are living with HIV. In India there are 3.4 million people suffered with this disease. Tamil Nadu is the seventh most populous state in India With a population of over 66 million, The need for quality HIV, AIDS, and STD services is therefore more important than ever.

A safe-sex campaign ( Awarness Camp) was launched by Mother Therasa Trust, encouraging condom use and attacking the stigma and ignorance associated with HIV. And also we Engender Health in the follwing ways.

Improving access to critical HIV services, including: voluntary counseling and testing for HIV; treatment, care and support; and preventing mother-to-child transmission of HIV. Reducing the stigma surrounding HIV and AIDS in health care settings. Improving the safety and effectiveness of existing clinical services, including reducing the risk of transmitting HIV and other STDs. Integrating HIV and AIDS services with sexual and reproductive health services to better meet peoples’ needs. Promoting the right of people living with HIV to sexual and reproductive health care, including family planning . Providing women, men and youth with comprehensive information to make informed and voluntary decisions about ways to prevent HIV and other STDs. Increasing access to adult male circumcision, a technology proven to reduce HIV risk

Medical Camp

Our objective to care people in all ways. We have conducted free medical Check up camp for general health, eye care and other problems. Group of specialized Doctors were derived at the camp. Our medical troop examined number of people and find their infects. Free medicines and resource materials were distributed during the programme. For the public who don’t have the facility for periodical medical check up. Founded patients are advised to have prior medical treatment. Mother Therasa Trust serviced for Poor people to take good medical treatment by the Doctors.

Trust also conducts Herbal Medicine awareness programme with basic rural herbs available in farm fencings, waste lands etc., These herbals are not identified and not utilizes by the people and these herbals are medicinal value herbals are impart them in utilize for the infected disease. Yoga training programmes for the benefit of the people was also conducted in school campuses. Reproductive & Child health care programs for rural population are conducted to reduce Inadequate knowledge on reproductive and born child health care. The programme controls untrained birth attendenters, and it brought pregnant women to health centres for delivery.

Caring Health of public is continues process. Mother Therasa Trust is committed for the ever long period for the Healthy community in and around Theni and Dindigul District.

Educational Programmes

Educating is not teaching of “What to think?”. It’s making the Pupil to “think” . - Plato.

Mother therasa trust understands teaching is any experience that has a formative effect on the mind, character or physical ability of an individual. And it is the process by which society transmits its accumulated knowledge, skills and values from one generation to another. So/ a honest serving heart, the first duty is to make the people educated in the society.

On this way of service Mother Therasa Trust took much interest and doing so many Awareness camps, Training works shops & teaching unity by celebrating social festivals. Literacy Awareness Prgrammes, Child Labour protesting Programme, Legal Aid Awareness prgramme, Women rights Awareness programme, Human rights awareness programme, Youth programme are the main activities taken by organisation to educate the people in various heads. Our trust conduted Science and Technology/ Solar Energy awareness camps in association with Tamilnadu State council for science & Technology, Chennai. In support with Government of India. Educating solar energy in the technical sense, for the next generation may be fulfill their fuel need by non-petroleum resources. So they have to be educated with solar energy. In the other sense, to preserve the natural resources and avoiding cutting trees for cooking needs.

Trust knows very well that, education fulfills only after technical training for the learners to earn. So, it conducted sustainable agriculture programme. In the programme, orgainc farming through Low external input sustainable Agriculture (LEISA) methodology, vermin bed and manure were explained with practical knowledge. Model vermin pit was established at the field for the further training programme.

Consumer Awareness programmes are also conducted by the Mother Therasa Trust for the shake of making people well aware of their rights on purchasing goods and necessary commodities.

Enviroment Prgrammes

Technical training and other educational programmes helps nothing to the people who lives in a bad environmental circumstances. Also, a good health cant maintained in a worst Environment. So, protecting natural resources is the eye of our serving community. Natural resources are limited. And many of them are not renewable. Even renewable resources such as food require space, water, soil to produce them and this ultimately mean that these resources will be taken from other living beings of Earth.

Preserving the earth's environment is all about keeping the rate of our usage of the earth's resources slower than the rate at which the earth can regenerate the resources, the earth's resources will be available to us indefinitely and our subsequent generations can enjoy the earth as much as we do.

Planting tree is the main way to protect nature. Mother Therasa Trust plants more benefit oriented trees in and around Theni and Dindigul Districts. Farmers having cultivable waste land but they are unable to cultivate these land due to monsoon failure etc. To eliminate this situation & farmers have to get some income we conducted one work attention tree plantatin programme. Also conduct Environmental awarness programme to make good soil fertility, less biodiversity.

Conclution

Mother Therasa trust conducted all the above mentioned programmes for the benefit of people with the strong supports of our kind hearted patrons.
